Soap Factory Awarded National Endowment for the Arts Challenge America Fast-Track Grant
The Soap Factory has been selected by the National Endowment for the Arts to receive one of the 162 grants of $10,000 awarded to organizations nation-wide. The Soap Factory will receive funding in support of concept design for a new entrance to the building, including charrettes for community involvement.
“As a first-time NEA grantee, The Soap Factory is honored by this evidence of the merit of our continued work on our historic building,” said Ryan Kronzer, Soap Factory Board President. “Taken together, these Challenge America Fast-Track grants provide an extraordinary sampling of the work that arts organizations do to reach underserved communities,” said NEA Chairman Rocco Landesman. “With these grants, we are helping to ensure that art works for all Americans.”
